When searching for a lamp, you want to be sure that you have the correct model number from your television. Samsung model numbers usually begin with the letters HL followed by an M, N, S, P, R, or T. Immediately following those first three letters is a set of four numbers. The first two numbers in that four number set usually define the size of the television. The last two numbers usually define the series number. At the end of the four number set there will usually be the letter(s) W, S, or T.
