Once again, you asked and we answered. This time the question was about how to replace the XL-2400 lamp inside a Sony WEGA tv.
First, make sure to turn the power off, then wait for it to cool down. Wait at least 30 minutes before you start unplugging anything and to make sure that the lamp has cooled down. The last thing you want to do is get burned. You’ll just end up feeling stupid and have to explain to someone that you were in too much of a rush to wait to do it the right way.
Next, remove the lamp cover, remove the lamp door, and finally…remove the lamp.
Finally, put the new lamp in the place of the old lamp, close the lamp cover and the door. Then you can fire up the tv, follow the onscreen options and voila – you’re done.
