While watching the REEL Network, they were talking about 3D movie theaters showing up all over with IMAX Theaters leading the way. They didn’t just stop there, apparently the new class of DLP televisions will be capable of bringing 3D to a set near you.
Gizmodo spoke about it last year. It turns out that Samsung will be providing a $100 kit that will include a 3D emitter and a paid of 3D glasses to go with them.

Samsung is working to trying to slow the death of DLP, but we hold fast to our feeling that by 2013, DLP will be a thing of the past.
