Hurricane Gustav and Tropical Storm Hanna suck. There are lots of other words that you could use, but the reality is that these two systems are going to impact the Gulf Coast and the Southeast in a way that hasn’t happened since Katrina.

[Update 10:10pm 8/31/08 - Gustav is schedule to hit New Orleans and other cities by tomorrow. Many have been evacuated to neighboring cities like Atlanta. The governor of Louisiana is requesting troops to be stationed closeby in preparation.]
[Update 10:12am 9/1/08 - Gustav has gone down to a Category 2 hurricane. It is scheduled to hit Louisiana in the next 2-3 hours.]
[Update 10:18pm 9/1/08 - Gustav hit Louisiana, but New Orleans was saved a brunt of the damage.]
[Update 10:21pm 9/1/08 - Hanna has been upgraded to a hurricane, and is eyeing Georgia in the next few days.]
