There’s one born everyday, at least that’s the old adage. When there’s a price mistake on a big website like Amazon.com, Dell, or Buy.com – people pounce. There’s something about the prospect of getting a good deal that people find seemingly unresistable.
Gizmodo featured a deal where a Sharp TV was on sale for less than $40. Almost every website nowadays has a disclaimer that says that they aren’t responsible for incorrect prices on products. It looks like people figured that since another store was selling it, not Amazon.com directly that it would go through. With almost 500 comments, a lot of people were interested.
