With Hurricane Ike blowing through Texas, gas prices have gone up drastically. After prices retreating as the dollar has been getting stronger, this will make a lot of people reconsider a lot of purchases now that gas has passed $5.00 (We noticed that gas jumped from $3.39 to $4.55 in Georgia over the last 3 weeks. Ed.).
This means that people won’t have money to spend on other things like that big screen DLP. There’s no telling how long it will last, but with football season here it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out in households around America.
