By Feb. 17th of 2009, the New York Yankees MLB baseball team will have a new stadium. This won’t just be a place to watch the Yankees try to get to the World Series but they are adding other amenities to get people in and keep them occupied.
Cisco is team up with the sports team to run the equivalent of $15,000,000 dollars worth of cabling throughout the stadium. Once the wiring is in place, 1,000+ HD television will be able to be accessed by people in private suites at the stadium. The televisions will be able to provide real time stats and other information to game goers.
