They spoke and had meetings about keeping prices at certain agreed upon level to make sure they benefited. LG was punished the most, but in the end the customers are going to be the one to pay for it. Companies like this rarely ever just pay the price and leave things at that.
Expect prices on HDTVs to go up or remain stable for the next 3-6 months as a “legislative tax” is levied on all things that use screens from these companies.
