Yesterday Sony unveiled their Green Glove service. It only is meant for people who already purchased a Sony big screen television and can prove they bought it through a SonyStyle store or through the Sony website.
It’s great to see Sony bring attention to recycling, especially since it is one of the biggest sellers of HDTVs.
This is another attempt to drum up attention from the electronics manufacturer. In August 2007, Sony announced a partnership with Waste Management to take back Sony branded electronics without imposing a fee.
