Yes, the deal is at Best Buy but the price is so good you may just realize that it’s worthwhile to walk in and pick one up or order it online. At $549, you’re saving $150 off the regular price of $699 which isn’t a bad deal to begin with. It’s only 720p, which isn’t the latest and greatest but is probably good for 90% of the people in the market for a new HDTV.
The brand is Dynex, which is a Best Buy brand. They team up with MCM to source the parts from other companies, but use a whole other company to assemble them. This is how they’re able to sell it for so little, you’ll never see an ad for Dynex – but if you go into the nation’s largest electronics store you’ll see them sitting there for a great price and might just pick one up. This isn’t to take away from the quality just information that you may find important. Most of the employees aren’t going to explain this to you but if you would consider buying an Element HDTV from Circuity City, a Dynex television will do you just fine.
Just remember, if you want to buy a warranty - you don’t have to buy it at the Best Buy store. You can wait and buy it from a 3rd party company who will service it for you just like Best Buy would. If you did buy one you’d be able to bring it to a store anyway since Best Buy is the company that manufactured it.
Shop safely.
