We’re all about giving the customer the benefit of the doubt but something just doesn’t smell right. Allow us to explain.
On Consumerist, there’s a story about a guy who most likely saw our story about the Mitsubishi 60735 on sale last week. He tried to buy the television online but didn’t get a confirmation. This should have been the first indication that the sale didn’t go through, but the thought never occured to him that it didn’t. He then tries to get Best Buy to made good on the deal even though the price goes up and he can’t pay.
It’s all just sad because it really smell like he’s trying to get over. Instead of sending it to Consumerist, he should have spent the time checking to see if a store near him sold the television for the same price or even better.
Heck, that’s what we did.
