The Richmond TImes-Dispatch tells the story of people heading to Circuit City earlier today in hopes of finding great deals. Prices at Circuit City stores has never been the greatest and even with them in a death swirl they refuse to make prices reasonable instead waiting to squeeze every dollar until they’re left with having to mark the prices down anyway.
They are giving people 10% off their HDTVs, which will leave them probably another 15% above what it should really cost or what you could get it for at a Best Buy or Walmart if it were on sale.
So much for a quick and timely death. It looks like Circuit City wants to drag this out for as long as possible.
