Hot on the heels of Amazon’s announcement of white glove service on all HDTVs 32″ and up, Sony has unveiled their green glove service which is very similar to Amazon’s service.

If you buy an HDTV, larger than 32 inches you can have Sony send delivery people to deliver and setup your new television in any room of your house. In addition, they’ll also remove the old television.

The biggest difference is that to cart off your old television, you’ll have to pay $129.

This seems great for the environment, but bad for your wallet.
