…and yes “LED TV” is a term being bandied about by marketing depts… but they are really “LCD with LED Backlight TVs”

FYI – the point Warren was trying to make, is that “local dimming” is a technique used in LED LCD TVs. There is no such thing as an “LED TV” – they all still used LCD panels for the picture. So “LCD TVs with Local Dimming” is not a “second best” to LED LCD TVs… they are the same thing.
