There are lots of ways to get people to buy your product. One way is lowering your prices and undercut your competition. Vizio has been king at this for the last few years. Another way to do this is to improve the warranty. Several years ago Hyundai and KIA started a shift in the auto industry by offering a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty to ensure customers knew that they stood behind their product. Best Buy is doing something similar with their line of Insignia HDTVs.
According to Bestbuy.com, here are the details on the new 2 year limited warranty:
Best Buy is raising the bar even higher with complimentary loaner service for new Insignia® televisions 30″ class or larger. Under the warranty, if a repair to a qualifying Insignia® TV can’t be completed in one visit, you’ll receive a 37″ class Insignia® 1080p loaner until repairs are complete.
The NS-P501Q-10A is a television covered under this new warranty. For $797, this 50″ plasma HDTV is sure to turn some eyes with it’s low price and improved coverage.
