After searching the internet there are several suggestions on what to do if you end up with a scratch on your LCD or plasma HDTV.
Back in 2006, PCExtreme.net was posed the question and came up with a creative solution. The solution is vaseline (or petroleum jelly). You’ll want to fill in the crack with the vaseline and remove the excess. For best results, you may want to use a cotton swob so you don’t get it spread all over the television.
In 2008, Fixya mentions using Nu Finish Scratch Doctor. Reviews on Amazon are a bit mixed but the rule of thumb seems pretty standard. If it’s a deep scratch, then all hope is pretty much lost. If it’s just a light scratch, then you hope.
Do you have any tricks you’ve used to fix screen scratches?
