Sometimes I get nostalgic and miss my old school CRT television. It was a Sony KV27FS100. I worked all Summer to buy it and thanks to a hookup from my friend who worked at Circuit City, I was able to buy it for $349 or something like that.
Everyone doesn’t want or need a fancy high end television, they just want one that works. This explains why you can still buy a tube television in 2009. The DX-R27TV from Dynex is only $189 which is $60 off of it’s MSRP. Thankfully it has a digital tuner so you don’t need a converter box in order to use it.
I’ve been spending so much time covering all of the latest and greatest it never dawned on me that you could still even get something that wasn’t a flat screen. Find this television was a great surprise.
