Blockbuster is closing a ton of stores and providing some good deals along the way. Users on the DVDTalk.com Forums are reporting several stores selling previously viewed DVDs for as low as $2.99. Some stores are even selling them for just a buck.
As Blockbuster expands with it’s Blockbuster Express DVD kiosks, and instant on demand service tied to set top boxes and other devices, the store closings makes great sense. It’s just funny that while the company had a chance to save themselves they didn’t do something this drastic.
