Panasonic extends their leadership in plasma TVs with the announcement of their new VT25 series of 600Hz plasma HDTVs. As has been the theme of CES 2010, these new Viera HDTVs are prepared for 3D and beyond.
According to Gizmodo:
The VT 25 Series comes in 50, 54, 58 and 65-inch sizes, with THX certification, 24p cinematic playback and a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It is also equipped with VieraCast digital content, wireless LAN adaptor, SD Reader, two USB ports, four HDMI ports and a pair of 3D glasses for good measure.
By late March the TC-P50VT25, TC-P54VT25, TC-P58VT25, and TC-P65VT25 models will start going on sale. No word has been given on price, but expect them to be aggressively priced as Panasonic competes with LED HDTVs from Vizio, Samsung, and Sony.
