The Samsung LN46A550 LCD HDTV won top honors in the March 2009 ConsumerReports. The 120Hz, 1080p HDTV beat out other great televisions like the Sony KDL-46XBR8, Vizio VO47LF, and Sharp Aquos LC-46SB54U to earn this distinction.
While the MSRP of the 46A550 is $1,499, you’re able to get one for as low as $919.

A reader was kind enough to let us know in the comments the LN46A550 in fact has 3 HDMI ports instead of just the one it mentions in the spec sheet online. After carefully looking at it, Samsung only details the HDMI port on the side and neglects to mention the two on the back of the unit.
